Nicole and Kirk’s story began in August 2019. Nicole had just moved to Arizona that June and started working at Topgolf Scottsdale, where Kirk was the Operations Manager. The first time she saw him, she knew there was something special about him. She admired from afar while her best friend, Merissa, kept her grounded, often saying, “He has five kids and zero time for you and your shenanigans.”

After a little over a year, Nicole left Topgolf—and decided to take a chance. She asked Kirk out on a date, but it wasn’t quite their time yet. Fast forward six months to May 2021 and a few flirty Instagram exchanges later, Kirk invited her out for a casual drink. That night, he kissed her for the first time, and from that moment on, they were inseparable.

It didn’t take long for Kirk to fall in love with Nicole (really, what’s not to love?). They moved in together in March 2022 and have since built a life full of laughter, adventure, and resilience. From graduations and weddings to spontaneous weekend getaways and precious family time, they’ve shared countless memories—both joyful and challenging.

Through it all, Nicole has been a steady source of peace and unwavering support for Kirk while Kirk has been a beautiful embodiment of understanding and constant love for Nicole. Together, they’ve learned that love isn’t just about the good times—it’s about standing strong through everything in between and choosing each other every day.
